No single point of failure - each unit controls only one door and is independent of all others. Adding a user from the web app immediately grants access to whatever doors you wish, across multiple campuses/buildings. Fine grained permissions with schedules that take into account holidays, etc. Offline access: even if the internet fails at a particular location, users can still gain access through keyfobs/passcodes/Bluetooth.
